| "We have found the staff at Martial Arts America to be very talented, knowledgeable, motivated as well as motivating. They are well trained in how to work with children, and are wonderful, positive role models for the students. Our daughter has gained self-confidence, self control, discipline, motivation, and focus. The curriculum has taught her respect, responsibility, honesty, and determination. She has also grown physically in strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination. All of these things have transferred to home, school, and all of the areas of her life. Her experience at Martial Arts America has helped her to develop into a well rounded young person with limitless possibilities."

| "We see both of our sons enjoying other sports more because of what they have learned in the school. If they make a mistake it is not the end of the world, it means that they need to go out and try harder. My ten year old son actually sang with a partner in center field at Miller Park in front of 25,000 people this summer. I attribute his courage to do this to the self confidence obtained through martial arts. The school reinforces the importance of respect from bowing at the door, saying 'yes sir', 'yes ma'am', respecting the other students, the equipment, and the school. Self-discipline is the last behavior where we have seen improvement in the boys. From not fighting among themselves to doing their chores and schoolwork. Both are setting goals in school and in sports."

| "Our son has ADHD and the related challenges were almost overwhelming. A friend recommended Martial Arts America to help sharpen his focus and self control so we gave it a try. WOW! The instructors have taught him the basic skills of karate, but more importantly, they have taught respect, self-control, self-confidence, leadership, perseverance and more. The instructors give him constant positive feedback and encouragement. It has helped him develop greater self-esteem. Thank you Martial Arts America."

| "We have been attending Nicklaus Martial Arts of America since 1997. We initially decided to have our son try karate right before he entered kindergarten. That was the best decision that we ever made for our children. No other sport will teach your children the life skills that Karate does. We discovered that the art/sport of karate teaches self discipline, self-esteem, respect for others, respect for yourself and the motivation to set goals and keep trying until you achieve them. We also found that the program that Mr. Nicklaus has set up is one that works as a partner in parenting. They reinforce basic listening skills and respect to parents, siblings, and grandparents. i don't know how many times I have heard an instructor ask a class: "How many times should your parents ask you to do something (i.e. pick up toys, make your bed, do your homework)?" The response from the class is always shouted back: "Once, Sir/Ma'am!" We have often used the respect that our kids have for their instructors as a motivational tool to get them to cooperate when they really don't want to. "Do I need to tell your karate instructor about this?" "No!" And then they run to do what ever we had asked them to do."

| "When I became a parent, and even more so as a single parent, I knew that I would need to rely on other adults to influence and role model for my girls, the kind of individuals that I hoped for them to be.In todays society it's not always easy to find these role models that not only teach, but also show, respect, confidence, acceptance, trust, communication and compassion. When we walked in to Martial Arts America we hit the jackpot. Not only did the instructors have the characteristics and personalities that I was searching for, they have provided even more for my daughters. They provide an environment that is unconditional and full of energy. This has allowed my girls to develop a level of confidence and self'esteem that is so exciting to watch. I couldn't ask for more. As a parent and social worker I know that it only takes one important adult to make a difference in a child's life. At Martial Arts America you can be assured that your child will have more than one adult that impacts them in a positive way."
